At the opening ceremony, Mr. Lou Yanchun, President of the World Foundry Organization and Chairman of the Foundry Branch of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, delivered a welcome speech. On behalf of the organizing committee, he warmly welcomed all the guests present and expressed sincere gratitude to all partners who supported the conference. He pointed out that Asian countries such as China, India, Japan, and South Korea lead the world in casting production, accounting for over 70% of the global total. In the process of developing the entire casting industry chain, Asia is writing a new chapter of development with "green innovation," promoting the research and application of green technologies and products, which will provide results and experience for the upgrading of the casting industry in Asia and even globally. He hoped that, taking this conference as an opportunity, global casting enterprises and research institutions would strengthen cooperation and jointly explore innovative paths for low-carbon, energy-saving, and resource recycling in the casting field, providing an "Asian solution" for the sustainable development of the global casting industry.

During the event, a grand ceremony was held to commemorate the 20th anniversary of cooperation between the Chinese and Japanese casting industries. Mr. Shimizu Ichido, former President of the Japan Foundry Workers' Association, presented a commemorative plaque to Mr. Lou Yanchun, Chairman of the Foundry Branch of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society. This commemorative plaque serves as powerful evidence of the two parties' two decades of close cooperation and joint progress, embodying profound industry friendship and fruitful collaboration. The enthusiastic applause at the event fully expressed the industry's appreciation for past achievements and its firm confidence in deepening future cooperation.

During the conference, six themed forums brought together global industry experts and scholars to share cutting-edge trends in the casting field, broadening the international perspectives of the attendees.

Furthermore, the exhibition platform's effectiveness continued to be evident. The five major exhibition areas—high-quality castings, investment casting, 3D printing and additive manufacturing, new materials, and industry-academia-research collaboration—worked synergistically, providing the industry with a professional and efficient exchange platform. Exhibitors and professional visitors engaged in in-depth discussions in various exhibition areas, conducting practical exchanges on technological innovation and industrial applications. Attendees enhanced consensus on cooperation through professional negotiations and stimulated innovative thinking through technical discussions, fully demonstrating the collaborative development trend of the casting industry.
