Introduction of stainless steel casting impeller:

Stainless steel casting impeller is a rotating part made of austenitic stainless steel and is one of the functional parts of a molten salt pump. The role of casting impeller is to convert the mechanical energy transmitted by the driving motor or turbine into the kinetic energy and pressure energy of the molten salt, and promote the flow of the molten salt.

1. Casting impeller is made of austenitic stainless steel, which has the ability to withstand high temperature, which can prevent dimensional mutations caused by temperature changes, and the coefficient of thermal expansion is stable.

Use of casting impeller:

1. Casting impeller can be used in the molten salt circulation of heat storage tanks and molten salt transportation of heat absorbers in the field of solar thermal power generation.

2. Cast steel impeller can be used in circulating pumps for high-temperature molten salt heating furnaces in the chemical industry.

3. Cast steel impeller can also be used in experimental equipment for high-temperature molten salt heat transfer characteristics in scientific research institutions.

 

Maintenance of cast steel impeller:

1. Daily inspection: the import and export pressure difference of cast steel impeller must be recorded every 3 months. If the difference drops by more than 10%, there may be fouling of the flow channel, and cleaning needs to be arranged. In addition, the amplitude must be monitored by a vibration sensor in daily operation, and the threshold value must be stopped for inspection as soon as possible.

2. Regular cleaning: after the cast steel impeller is shut down, the runner can be purged with 500℃ hot air for 1 hour to remove residual molten salt from the surface. For areas with severe fouling, you can use a special molten salt cleaner to soak and rinse, be careful not to damage the surface of the blade by hard scratching.

3. Wear repair: if the blade edge of cast steel impeller is slightly worn, argon arc welding can be used to repair the welding, and the original curved surface arc can be restored after polishing. If cracks occur or the wall thickness is reduced by more than 15%, it is recommended to replace it directly to avoid fracture during high temperature operation.
